A los 14 años me mudé de Ciudad de México a Estados Unidos sin hablar una sola palabra de inglés. No tenía un plan. Solo tenía que adaptarme. At 14, I moved from Mexico City to the United States without speaking a single word of English. I had no plan. I just had to adapt.

En ese proceso descubrí un podcast llamado Diggnation. Dos tipos hablando de tecnología, startups y emprendedores en Silicon Valley. Para mí fue como descubrir que existía otro mundo, uno donde no necesitabas seguir el camino tradicional de ir a la escuela, universidad, trabajo, jubilación. Podías crear algo tuyo. Eso lo cambió todo. In that process I discovered a podcast called Diggnation. Two guys talking about technology, startups, and entrepreneurs in Silicon Valley. For me it was like discovering that another world existed, one where you didn't have to follow the path of school, university, job, retirement. You could create something of your own. That changed everything.

Fui a la universidad a estudiar negocios internacionales y marketing. Mientras terminaba mi carrera, me acerqué a uno de mis profesores, alguien que me había estado enseñando cómo construir negocios, y le pregunté cómo fue lanzar el suyo. Literal, me vio a los ojos y me dijo que nunca había lanzado su propio negocio, que siempre había sido académico, pero que sí había ayudado a otros a lanzar los suyos. I went to college to study marketing. While finishing my degree, I approached one of my professors, someone who had been teaching me how to build businesses, and asked him what it was like to launch his own. He told me he'd never had one.

Ese día fue un gran recordatorio de que hay una diferencia enorme entre hablar de algo y hacerlo de verdad. Yo decidí estar en el segundo grupo. That's when I understood something I've never forgotten: there's a huge difference between talking about doing things and actually doing them. I decided to be in the second group.

Empecé como freelancer de marketing. Sin darme cuenta, tenía una agencia. La escalé. Con el tiempo esa agencia ha manejado más de 560 millones de dólares en ads. Pero conforme crecía, me alejé de lo que más me importaba: crear. I started as a marketing freelancer. Without realizing it, I had an agency. I scaled it. Over time that agency has managed over $560 million in ads. But as it grew, I drifted from what mattered most to me: creating.

Así que empecé a experimentar en paralelo. Una idea aquí, otra allá. Cuando algo ganaba tracción, lo convertía en negocio. Tengo TDA. Mi mente nunca se queda en un solo lugar. Lo que para muchos es un obstáculo, para mí fue el motor. El caos se convirtió en un portafolio de empresas en marketing, ecommerce, medios digitales y bienes raíces. So I started experimenting in parallel. One idea here, another there. When something gained traction, I turned it into a business. I have ADD. My mind never stays in one place. What many see as an obstacle was, for me, the engine. The chaos became a portfolio of companies in marketing, ecommerce, digital media, and real estate.

Cuando llegó la inteligencia artificial, algo hizo clic. No porque fuera una tendencia. Sino porque por primera vez tenía una herramienta que se movía a la velocidad de mi mente. When artificial intelligence arrived, something clicked. Not because it was a trend. But because for the first time I had a tool that moved at the speed of my mind.

Empecé a automatizar todo lo que odiaba hacer. Recuperé horas. Después días enteros al mes. Mis márgenes mejoraron. Mi forma de pensar mejoró. Mi asistente principal hoy es un agente de IA que se llama Bulma, que mantiene orden en toda mi operación. La IA no cambió lo que hago. Amplificó cómo lo hago. I started automating everything I hated doing. I recovered hours. Then entire days per month. My margins improved. My thinking improved. My main assistant today is an AI agent named Bulma, who keeps order across my entire operation. AI didn't change what I do. It amplified how I do it.

Hoy dirijo Zero Seven Nine, un portafolio de empresas que operan con IA. Una agencia de marketing, una consultora de marketing y dirección creativa, marcas de ecommerce y un portafolio de medios digitales. Today I run Zero Seven Nine, a portfolio of companies that operate with AI. A marketing agency, a marketing consulting and creative direction firm, ecommerce brands, and a digital media portfolio.

He trabajado en campañas para F1, Disney, Adidas y Pepsi, entre otras. I've worked on campaigns for F1, Disney, Adidas, and Pepsi, among others.

Pero lo que más me importa sigue siendo lo mismo que a los 14 años: convertir una idea en algo real. La IA solo me permite hacerlo más rápido, más seguido y con menos fricción. But what matters most to me is still the same as when I was 14: turning an idea into something real. AI just lets me do it faster, more often, and with less friction.
